Description

This e-book includes complete melodies as well as substantial segments of uncomplicated, famous traditional folk songs from different countries around the world. Their goal was to assist you in acquainting your students with the musical traditions of diverse nations and cultures. This e-book includes 53 popular, rhythmic, and easy-to-play folk songs and melodies from all over the world. Through music, we are brought together and we can gain a better understanding of people from all corners of the Earth.Getting to know music from around the world can be one of the most exciting and appealing ways to be introduced to new and different cultures. Music is a universal language, meaning that it transcends borders and opens up an entirely new way of thinking. You do not need to have any musical experience or be able to read music to use this e-book. It is aimed at your or your kid's first musical experience with a toy musical instrument. Nowadays, toy xylophones are well-tuned and can be used to easily become introduced to the world of music. If you have this specific xylophone (pictured below), you can play all 53 songs. I chose the most popular model on the market, where the C and C8 notes are colored in blue. However, if your model is a little bit different, for example C is red, C8 is white or C and C8 both are red, this e-book will also work for you. Besides colored circles corresponding to the key color of your small xylophone, there are note letters inside each circle. Just follow the letter and play.Additionally, I have collected very simple and very popular melodies and songs from all over the world to make your musical journey more interesting. I recommended scanning the QR code on each page and listening to the melody and rhythm before playing. This is the most natural method to learn music. My circles do not show the pitch and duration of notes and rhythmic patterns. Remember, this e-book is for your very first musical instrument. All melodies in this e-book were simplified for a one-octave diatonic xylophone.Table of contentsNorth AmericaAlice the CamelAni Couni ChaouaniAura LeeBim Bum BiddyBuckeye JimJacob's LadderLi'l Liza JaneKum-Ba-YahMichel Row Your BoatOver the RiverPeace Like a RiverLatin AmericaBrinca la TablitaCucarachaDoDo Petit PoPoTingalayoCumpleanos FelizLost my Gold RingLos Pollitos DicenAfricaBanuwaChe Che KoolayDo-Do-Ki-DoFunga AlafiaKanzenzenzeLabe-igi-OromboObwisanaSansa KromaShosholozaWelcome SongEuropeFive Little DucksFive Little MonkeysHush Little BabyOld Mother HubbardThis Old ManSee-Saw Margery DawBuenos DiasDonde estan las LlavesAu Clair de la LunePirouette CacahueteFrere Jacques (Are You Sleeping?)Un Petit CochonVous Diraije Maman (Twinkle Little Star)Giro-Giro-TondoOh Che Bel CastelloMein Hut (My Hat)AsiaKalinkaKum Bachur AtzelAnile, AnileGayatri MantraMaha Mrityundjaya MantraZhao Peng YouHotaru KoiAustralia and OceaniaEpo-i-Tai-Tai-eKangaroo, Skippy Roo
