Mashi, and Other Stories

This work is a collection of Tagore's short stories that explore the universality of human experiences as he often does in his other works. In this collection, Tagore explores the difficulties inherent in growing up and finding one's place in society, as well as the complexities of familial relationships. The title story, Mashi, is about a newly married woman who has a deep bond with her sister-in-law but not with her husband.
