CHANGE

"If you had waited another day, we would have to amputate your arm". The doctor exclaimed moments before he shoved a surgical scissors up my right arm, near my elbow. Predator's scream paled in comparison to mine, when Danny Glover chopped off his arm. The only thing left to fall from my eyes was tears, but the pain swallowed it up. How did I move from dancing in the living room, to losing my balance, to falling in a glass table, to puncturing my elbow that  oozed with blood like a burst pipe; to keeping it for days, to being unable to touch my shoulder, to having to go through physiotherapy at the hospital? The changes that occurred did so in rapid succession, and I never knew what to expect. Follow me as I show you something that we all experience everyday and yet often seem to deny. You will see more stories like the one I just summarized. You will also see why we should not take what you are about to witness for granted.
