Description
The Greek word "Pentekostos" mean (fifty) and it was an annual Judaic festival also known as the "festival of weeks" which was the festival of the first fruits of the harvest. It was a feast celebrated fifty days after the Passover and all the Jews, both those who dwelt in Jerusalem and those who lived far away, came to celebrate this feast given its importance. This is why there were so many people on the day of the descent of the Holy Spirit on the feast of Pentecost. Then with the descent of the Holy Ghost, we live in the dispensation of the Holy Ghost, and he lives in the church helping you to get to Heaven. The presence of the Holy Spirit in our hearts gives us the joy of living, of praising God, until the Lord comes.
